Understand the metric
What is Days since split?
Days since split measures elapsed time since a stock’s most recent split. The value identifies recency, while the separate split-ratio filter identifies the type and proportion of the event. Used together, these fields let you distinguish recently restructured share counts from older corporate actions without confusing a recent forward split with a recent reverse split.
An illustrative example
Days since split in practice
A maximum of 10 days would include a symbol whose last split was 3 days ago and exclude one whose split was 45 days ago. Add split ratio to determine whether the recent event consolidated shares or increased their number; recency alone does not tell you.
Make it part of your workflow
A more deliberate stock screen.
Use ChartsWatcher to create a recent-split research list before comparing prices and activity. Include split ratio and current price as context, then inspect charts and company announcements to understand the corporate action behind an apparent change in the stock’s price scale.
ChartsWatcher lets you combine this filter with other criteria in a toplist and rank the results by the columns you care about. Keep the shortlist beside charts, stock news, and watchlists in your own layout.

How do I add Days since split in ChartsWatcher?
Open or create a toplist and add Days since split to its filter configuration. Choose the available options and the bounds that fit your screen. Combine it with other metrics to narrow the results. Filters can also refine which stocks qualify for an alert.
What should I check when interpreting this filter?
A split changes share structure without by itself creating company value. Days since split does not identify the split direction, ratio or reason for the event.
From an idea to your own scan.
Use Days since split with the other conditions that define your setup. Keep matching stocks, charts, and news together, with a configuration you can refine as you go.
